The Makita 12 Inch compound miter saw has capacity to cut 4-1/2 Inch tall pivoting fence for cutting up to 5-1/2 Inch crown molding. It is powered by a powerful 15 Amp direct drive motor that requires less maintenance and delivers 4000 RPM. Positive meter allows to stop at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6, 45 left or right based on application requirement. The precision machined aluminum base delivers accurate cuts. It is ideal for carpenters, professional woodworkers, case and base installers, cabinet installers, decking and flooring applications and siding installers. The horizontal D-handle design offers easy and comfortable operation. It includes C.T blade, vertical vise, two extension wings, wrench and dust bag.
